Office Chairs for Tall People and Desk
People come in all shapes, sizes, and heights. Desk do also so When searching for a office chair to buy you will probably think that they are one size fits all. If you are over 5’11 I suggest you find a chair that is aimed for tall people. Tall people often have chair problems such as falling when they sit. Shorter people often adjust their seat really low to the ground and they aren’t high to begin with. Aside from falling into office chairs tall people knees will start to hurt because the average chair wont adjust high enough.
If you read around this website you will find a bunch of helpful tips to improve the comfort of your current chair. I am sorry to inform you but if your rolling chair Is not high up enough it can cause problems. A prank we use to do at my old job was we would lower people chairs when they walked away. It’s fun when everyone is young but the impact of those crash landings adds up. I also experienced bad circulation while seated because my knees were always bent.
If you’re tall and you found this website before you experienced any of these problems. Fear not my long limbed friends I have reviewed a couple chairs aimed at us tall people. No more falling and numb legs. when your leg falls asleep from bad circulation while sitting on the toilet. Is the situation I don’t want others to go through in there office chair.
I only have three recommendations currently, there were more but the quality changes frequently on amazon products. The chairs below have been consistent for years

The foot ring is great and you’ll finally be able to use one.

When adjusted to its lowest position, the top of the stool bottom (where your bottom side will reside) measures 24 inches. Fully elevated, it measures 29 inches. It gets up high and will last the average person years. It’s comfortable and gets the job done. It has 3 options for armrest each at different price points. You can choose between adjustable, loop, and no arms. If you are on a budget the armless chair would be the best bet.
